Sling Media’s award winning Slingbox turns any Internet-connected PC, Mac, or mobile device into your home television allowing you to watch your TV virtually anywhere in the world. The Sling Entertainment Group is a division of Sling Media and will deliver new applications and services enabled by the Slingbox’s marriage of familiar TV programming and richly interactive web-connected devices.
As Senior Designer you will work alongside the Information Architect and Interactive Developers to design compelling user experiences for next generation video products. You will be responsible for brainstorming creative concepts with the team, developing original designs, and executing designs based on new and established style guides.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of relevant industry tools specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
- Minimum 5 years experience (preferably agency and interactive work)
- An excellent eye for detail and a clean, precise graphic style
- A desire to learn and contribute to the successful completion of team goals and projects
- Comprehensive understanding of usability and the Web, and the fundamentals of information architecture
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates innovative thinking, strong creative vision and problem-solving skills for complex interactive design challenges.
